Cooling tower sand filter

Cooling tower sand filter is a type of filtration system used in cooling tower systems to remove debris and particulate matter from the circulating water. Cooling towers are used to remove heat from recirculating water in air-conditioning and industrial processes. The water in a cooling tower is constantly exposed to the atmosphere, which can lead to the buildup of debris, algae, and other contaminants. A sand filter is designed to remove these contaminants from the water, thus reducing the risk of fouling and scaling in the cooling tower system.

The cooling water filter typically consists of Hydrocyclone sand separator and Basket Strainer which acts as a physical barrier to remove particulate matter as the water flows through it. The filtered water is then returned to the cooling tower for further use.
